Next up is Pop and it’s all about popping bubbles! It may sound simple but there are lots of things you can do to get a high-score and have fun. Just keep an eye on the timer because when it runs out it’s game over!
Each bubble is worth both points and time so try to fill up your timer first then focus on scoring high. You can then start to chain the same colour of bubble for big points by popping bubbles of the same colour. This is a great way to increase you score.
Friends can join you in a game of Pop, too! Whenever you are playing all they need to do is connect their Wii Remote and then join in the action. Watch out because they may start using power-ups to hold you back! If they do try to pump up some bubbles or detonate a nuke this will create a shock-wave which will destroy any matching colours of bubbles it touches.
Finally there are badges for completing certain objectives; online high-score tables and WiiConnect24 messages so you can keep up with your friends’ progress and boast about your own. Download Pop today for 700 Wii Points.

Whether it was Master Chief’s hilarious exploits as a TV chef, a Spartan high school reunion, or even Master Chief break-dancing to MC Hammer, the guys at Bungie thought the “HALO: RECUT” competition was stiff and found it hard to pick local country winners, let alone an overall European winner. However, after much lively debate back at Bungie’s HQ, the judges - who live and breathe Master Chief on a daily basis - chose Scott Robertson, from Cardiff, UK, as the lucky winner with his video “Master Chief’s Day Off.”
“Master Chief’s Day Off” presents the celebrated Halo hero as an average Joe on a break from his regular office job, struggling with the trivialities of everyday life - with hilarious results. Be it turning to rust after a shower or changing a simple light bulb, Master Chief’s mastery of the Halo universe is sadly not paralleled in Scott’s imagining of the hero’s battle with the ordinary.
Overall competition winner Scott said, “My head’s still a little bit in the clouds about it all - I’m such a big fan of Halo and have always enjoyed being creative – but to be chosen a the overall winner is just a dream come true!
“I spent six years battling a serious illness which resulted in several major operations, the last being in November 2007. It was during my recovery from this final operation that I heard about the Halo: RECUT competition and working on this video really helped me through this difficult time.”
Scott, 25, is now 100% healthy and thrilled at the opportunity to trade in his day job at British Gas in Cardiff and jet off to the home of cinema. “I studied Animation at the University of Glamorgan, and this is great chance for me to throw myself back into the world of film – where better than the home of cinema to do this! I just want to say a huge thank you to Xbox, Bungie and, of course, Master Chief for all the help this competition gave me, and above all the opportunity to live out my dream!”
Bungie Studios’ Brian Jarrard added, “This fantastic competition really showcased the creativity and passion that drives the Halo fan community. It was great to see people throw themselves into the task, infusing their personality and style into the Halo legend – often with hilarious consequences! We really want to extend a massive thank you to all those who entered, it’s amazing to see the creativity of the Halo fan base come to life.”

Nobilis, the French publisher is proud to announce that its baby lifesim game “My Baby”, recently released in France in two versions “My Baby Boy™” and “My Baby Girl™”, has just topped the French charts. My Baby ranked N°1 on Nintendo DS™ French market week 26. The Game has just been released in Spain, Benelux, Italy, and Portugal where the same level of performance is expected.
“Beyond the smart and audacious marketing choices we’ve made, these exciting performances are mainly due to the cutting edge gameplay experience we wanted to provide gamers with. Whereas a lot of competitors provide just mini game compilations involving babies we decided to go for an ambitious gameplay experience based on a never seen before interaction with a digital baby. The result is just impressive whether you belong to the target audience or not. The actual reward for the team is to discover each day new forums with players exchanging tips about the game. This is the sign that with My Baby we have placed casual Gaming where it should be now: mainstream but deep, valuable and impressive!” Declares Sébastien Chirpaz, Publishing Marketing Director for Nobilis.
He adds “We are now working hard on preparing the UK, Germany and US launches… All the lights are green in order to make My Baby one of the new big things on the DS in Q3/Q4 2008”.
