Ok on with the review.. Wall E is easy to control with simple controls up for jump left and right movements plus he has a use key which can be used for multiple tasks ( throw, collect etc)

You start off with simple platform puzzles where you have to find your way over to the items that have been highlighted at the beginning of the level such as fire extinguishers, lighters and ducks..

The main aim of the game is to collect as many treasures as you can to open up bigger and better abilities, like jump x2 higher, this is a great help when navigating Wall - E through the various levels.

During each level the obstacles to overcome get harder and harder and get to the point of the only way to get through the level is to restart and not make a mistake, I spent quite some time figuring out how to do levels that didnt appear to have a way through only to realise you need Eve to blast the walls out of the way for you to reach your goal.

The help posts are good for letting you know bits about the game and earn extra “flyer” items (these turn into objects which Wall - E wants to collect. The only problem is that sometimes you just cannot no matter how you try get to some of the information posts, I gather that this is some part of the game like a red herring.

The more you play this game the better it becomes as Wall E earns new skills enabling you to do more with him, at first i found this a little monotonous and the levels seemed a bit samey, but for a mobile game its not bad. I passed this to my 4 year old to play and he spent a good 3 hours on it till my phone went dead.

The game can be frustrating and if you get bored easily it may not be for you, but if you like a little bubble gum for the mind whilst eating lunch or on the bus then i would recommend this.. and @ £4.50 its a bargain bucket game.. as long as you dont expect it to run for weeks…

Gameplay - 5/10 - Smooth playing, very easy controls / good puzzles.
Graphics - 6/10 - For a Mobile its adequate you dont need any more than it gives.
Sounds - 6/10 - Some good cheesy music which does enhance the game…
Overall - 6/10 - It gets a 6 from Pimp as it could have been a more interesting game with loads more added to it, The console version supply a lot more longevity If you dont like mobile gaming.

To get WALL•E on your mobile simply text “WALLE” to 88188 (UK only). The game costs £4.50 which is a one off charge.
