Monster Madness : Grave Danger Its upto the youth of today to be the leaders of tomorrow , or at least to lay some serious discipline on the many marauding monsters that threaten to overwhelm our very existence.
Monster madness grave danger is a sequel to monster madness battle for suburbia,  the aim of the game is to find out about the sudden monster mennace that has come upon the town. you can be 1 of four teen types which you will meet in a comic style into before getting into the game.

The game itself is a top down arcade style shooter with alot of bashing and shooting at zombie creatures, you can aquire new weapons as yu go along and also buy upgrades from a special vendor that you pretty much meet in every level. its a very simple game to play, easy controls but gets boring very  quickly as your basically doing the same thing over and over. Local co op is slightly better as you get to play with your friends on up to 4 players, but still wont last much longer than singleplayer.

To try and keep you into the game there are a ton of mini game type challenges which are quite fun to play for a while but nothing special. the part i was most excited abut was the online play, unfortunately online play doesnt even exist as there is nobody online …ever!,  still, if there was a community i have a feeling  that the online play would have been fun with its various game modes and 12 players.

Graphically its pretty mediocre, nothing really to catch my eyes and doesnt seem the next gen standard of the playstation 3,  it almost seems like im playing a playstation 2 game. The audio is the same, its pretty poor quality  and the voice acting is pretty bad.

Overall I would give this game a total miss, with a dead online community its not really my cup of tea, single player is just so repeatative and is so boring, the co op play and challenges i had fun playing with but not worth buying for. unfortunetly even the dead will not wake to play this game.

Gameplay - 3/10 - Repetitive need more variety
Graphics - 4/10 -  More Playstation 2 than PS3 not next-gen
Sounds - 4/10 - Its Conan magic, but the voice actors could have tried a little harder.
Overall - 3.5/10 - This would be good if it was PS2 only.

Audiosurf is the new way for people to enjoy their music – letting them play it and experience it!

Audiosurf, the puzzle racer that adapts and changes to the beat of your music, will be released by Ascaron in October 2008. Players cruise through futuristic tracks in a spaceship style racer, with the speed, shape and mood of each ride being dictated by the song playing. The music is chosen by the user as they decide between a calm, peaceful journey and an adrenaline fuelled rush.

For £9.99, gaming and music fans alike are provided with endless playability as every track is unique, generated from the song chosen for that particular ride. Slower music creates a calmer, uphill ride, whilst fast and hectic songs will send the player speeding down a steep slope on a bumpy ride. The game supports all the major formats* including MP3 and music straight from iTunes.

The aim is to gain points, accumulated by racing through coloured blocks on different sections of the track. By collecting blocks of the same colour, a cluster is created and the blocks disappear, replaced by points on the scoreboard. Scores can be entered into online international leagues, setup for specific songs. The most popular songs include Knights of Cydonia, by Muse; Viva La Vida, by Coldplay; Propane Nightmares, by Pendulum and I Kissed a Girl, by Katy Perry.

Players can take control of 14 different characters, each with their own abilities. Some are able to jump over, move or drag blocks, whilst others operate two vehicles simultaneously, with the player in control of both. Extra variety is added to the gameplay through a range of power-ups and point gaining tactics, including clearing all blocks collected as the song finishes.
